About the Team / Business Unit Quality Engineering and Assurance practice is one of the largest practices in Cognizant and is responsible to engineer quality for Cognizant’s customers across industries. To build in the quality-oriented mindset, practices and solutions from the beginning of any project with the intent of building the right system for customers’ end users and in the right way; with Cognizant’s ‘right first time’ approach to the IT systems. QEA provides customers with the Testing, compliance, NFT and quality processes consulting with the aim of maximizing the return on investments with reducing the cost to quality. A technology driven department that partners with leading providers of IT tools and methodologies in Quality Engineering and Assurance space. About You: You will work with various customers to provide test automation solutions for the applications ranging from home grown systems to product implementations, identify the test automation possibilities, evaluate tools base with customers and recommend a strategy most suitable to achieve customers’ goals to achieve quality. You will be working with the practice to increase the base, quality and skills of the resources in your team and department by identifying the training needs and coordinating, conducting them. Your Key Result Areas:

• Leading and coordination of our test governance team, consisting of members from all our development teams.

• Drive software test architecture tasks ensuring a uniform test approach in our organization.

• As lead Test Architect you are overall responsible for several of our tools used during our verification process

• Be part of our governance in software development

• Participate in process improvement within software development, and across organisation.

• Participate in research projects in university cooperation within software development methods.

• Be available for development teams to clarify and discuss ambiguities regarding test and processes.

• Provide input to scope and approach for a given test i.e., test techniques to be applied.

• Review and contribute to test documentation and test plans.

• Review and document test coverage for accurate planning of testing duration.

Required & Nice to have Skills: Must Haves:

• 10+ Yrs of Experience in Quality Engineering / Assurance with 6+ years in building test automation frameworks and developing Test Automation.

• Good knowledge in scripting with Test Automation Tools like Selenium, Cucumber, Protractor, SOAP UI, HP UFT, Test Complete, Work soft, Tosca.

• Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining software build / test / release pipelines.

• Extensive Test Management experience using tools like Jira, TFS and Azure Cloud

• Experience constructing test plans and executing against these plans across unit level, regression, system, integration, functional, stress and load testing.

Must be fluent in English and Danish verbal and written communication skills. It is expected to have the following Basic Certifications:

• ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) (Minimum requirement),

• Good understanding of testing methodologies (ISTQB, TMap, etc.)

• University degree
