Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Amaris Consulting is looking for an Design Engineer to join our team in Denmark.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in developing and maintaining our advanced Traffic Management Systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing input requirements, designing system solutions, and maintaining system specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and confirm requirements.
• Develop conceptual designs using models and optimization.
• Collaborate with teams (RAM, Safety, Human Factors, Subsystem, Software, Product, and V&V) on design concepts.
• Participate in reviews and incorporate expert advice.
• Write formal models and requirements per design standards.
• Maintain system specifications and templates.
• Coordinate design revisions with relevant teams.
• Conduct document and peer reviews for accuracy.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

We are looking for someone who has strong system engineering knowledge and extensive product and domain knowledge. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively across engineering teams and demonstrate proficiency in designing for safety and RAM compliance. Excellent requirement management and writing skills are essential, along with expertise in concept generation and system architecting.

Requirements:

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics and Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics and Communication) or relevant field.
• You are fluent in English.
• You have 7 to 10 years of experience in system engineering, requirement engineering, and system design and architecture.
