ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?

The position is based in our ambitious and dynamic Oral Innovation team. The Oral Innovation team is responsible for developing and defining our innovation pipeline for new categories with focus on oral nicotine. Beyond consumer research, you’re very much involved in the new product development built on design thinking methods and will work closely with insights agencies to discover unmet consumer needs and turn those into innovation ideas. In addition you will be testing new innovation prototypes and inform decision on where and how to deploy our innovations in the commercial brands.

What is the direct impact of this role on the team or organization?

You will also join the larger Brand Oral team, where we drive the development and implementation of our Oral Nicotine products in the North Western European Countries. You’ll be given responsibility and your own projects from the beginning, allowing you to develop your career with support at every stage of the process, including on-going feedback and coaching.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

• Understand consumer needs and insights and turn them into product and innovation pipeline.
• Work internally with brand team, global category team, legal teams to manage projects as well as to report on new learnings.
• Collaborate closely with external agencies to ensure assigned insights activities are in line with the requirements of the brief while maintaining day to day communication to achieve the desired outcome
• Project management and carrying out the research developments for pipeline, propose corrective actions in case of setbacks and push the boundaries by following design thinking as key methodology

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• You finished your master’s degree in 2019 or 2020 within Marketing / Consumer Studies / Design
• Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills
• Structured with strong communication skills
• Proficient Excel and Power Point user
• Able to perform under pressure and in a fast-changing environment
• Experience with brand management, agency, or other marketing related experience
