WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US: In SimCorp Product Development, we work within product areas that are composed of three to five software engineering teams that deliver solutions to SimCorp customers. The Product Owner role ensures that the deliveries are aligned with the customers’ needs as well as with SimCorp’s strategy. WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR: You will be working in the Transactions Product Area, where we are enhancing, modernizing, and maintaining financial instruments transactions in SimCorp Dimension – the flagship investment management solution of SimCorp. You will be working with our teams and be accountable for maximizing the value of their efforts. You will be collaborating with a product manager, and software engineering leaders in product backlog management. You will also be in touch with our clients and market units, be customer outcome driven. WHAT WE VALUE Business Domain Knowledge

• Financial Instruments Transactions: A strong understanding of financial instruments transactions is crucial. Relevant training, such as the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification, is a plus.

Product Knowledge

• SimCorp Dimension: Practical experience with SimCorp Dimension is preferred.
• Investment Management Solutions: Knowledge and experience with similar investment management solutions are advantageous.
• SimCorp Dimension Trade Manager: Expertise in Trade Manager is highly desirable.

Product Owner Experience

• Preferred Background: Experience as a Product Owner, particularly within financial institutions or software companies delivering financial solutions, is preferred.
• Translatable Skills: We encourage applicants with translatable skills who are eager to grow into product ownership to apply.

Product Management Knowledge

• Strategic Development: Curiosity, interest, and expertise in product management are critical for strategically driving product development, market launch, and ongoing support and improvement. These qualities are highly regarded.

Stakeholder Management Skills

• Cross-Border Collaboration: Experience working across borders and ensuring alignment on expectations and deliveries is highly valued.

Understanding of Agile Software Development

• Agile Principles: Proficiency in agile software development principles and the ability to effectively communicate within a software development context are highly desirable.

Communication and Leadership

• Collaboration and Outcomes: Strong spoken and written communication skills are essential for collaborating with colleagues and customers and achieving desired business outcomes.
