Bupa Global is the international health insurance division of Bupa. We provide customers who want premium international coverage with products and services to access the healthcare they need anytime, around the world, whether at home or when studying, living, travelling or working abroad.

Bupa Global has offices around the world including London and Brighton (UK), Dublin (Europe), Miami (USA), Dubai (UAE, in partnership with OIC), Egypt and Hong Kong (China) as well as regional offices in mainland China, Singapore, the Dominican Republic, Bolivia, Panama, Guatemala and Ecuador.

The Nordic New Business and Retention Support will undertake a diverse range of tasks that help expand Bupa Globals market share in the Nordic region. This will include uncovering new business opportunities and supporting the sales process. You will also contribute to the proactive management of a portfolio of existing health insurance plans and support activities that further raise Bupa Globals profile in the Nordics.

How youll help us make health happen:

  • Undertake lead generation and business development activities focused on increasing Bupa Globals market share.
  • Build and support existing relationships with Brokers and distribution partners.
  • Support activity (conferences, broker visits, market engagement etc) designed to promote Bupa Global and further raise Bupa Globals positive profile in the Nordics.
  • Support growth projects and initiatives as required.
  • Deliver the highest level of customer care to include taking ownership of day-to-day client account issues, ensuring best practice process are always adhered to, liaising with the appropriate areas of the business to resolve and, if appropriate, communicate back to third parties
  • Competently deal with complaints and escalate when necessary.
  • Keep updated on the competitor activity and products, sharing all new information with colleagues
  • Constantly analyse, improve and develop sales techniques through sales training, seminars, self-analysis and coaching. To actively participate in sessions to maximise knowledge and ability putting new skills into practice on return to your role.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement that constantly seeks to improve customer outcomes, eliminate waste, and increase efficiency and productivity.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Experience of working within a targeted environment
  • Relevant industry experience is welcome.
  • Experience of achieving new business and/or retention success whilst working with a comparable product.
  • Competence with Nordic languages is desired but not essential
