Sales Coordinator

Are you service minded, and do you want to be an important link between internal and external stakeholders? Then you might be the new colleague we are looking for in Thorning.

You will be part of our Foodservice, QSR and Topping department, where you will join our Sales & Logistics team located in Thorning. You’ll get 6 close colleagues whose primary responsibility is to make sure that the back-office runs - more specifically that our colleagues get all the support they need, and that our customers get their orders on time and a really good experience of Danish Crown. Here, two days are rarely the same, and you get a lot of responsibility in relation to the day-to-day operations with selected customers. You will be part of an environment where we enjoy having fun together and where it goes without saying that we help each other.

Get an important role in sales support

As Sales Coordinator, your overall responsibility is to provide support to our sales offices in Japan as well as to ensure daily communication to our customers in Asia, e.g., South Korea and Hong Kong. The volume of tasks for our Asian customers can vary, and therefore you will sometimes also get other tasks for customers in Europe. That will give you a broad insight into the business.

On a daily basis, you help ensure that customers get the right order at the right time and place in connection with export sales, and that everything is registered correctly in our systems. As we are a small team that covers for each other, part of the job is also to help your colleagues where needed.

Among other things, you will spend your working day with the following tasks:

  • Daily communication with our sales offices in Japan, customers in South Korea, Hong Kong etc.
  • Short-term forecasting and documentation of certifications
  • Close communication with the shipping department
  • Completing questionnaires from customers in excel
  • Update price adjustments in SAP
  • Sample orders, including special orders, special products and sometimes special arrangements regarding transport, packaging etc.
  • Complaint handling in SAP and follow-up with customers and the logistics department.

You will have your daily work life at our factory in Thorning, but from time to time you will also have to visit the head office in Randers, especially at the beginning in connection with training.

Structured and service-minded with a good overview

Your educational background is not decisive, but you are for examples a sales or office assistant. You have experience with similar tasks, where you have worked with sales support, order reception and possibly SAP. In addition, you are service-minded and want to communicate in English with our customers as well as internally in the organization. You have a flair for IT and are an experienced user of MS Office. At the same time, you communicate without problems in Danish and English.

Your way of working is structured, and you always ensure that you provide the best service. You are persistent and contribute with solutions that can optimize our work. You will have to get in touch with a lot of people internally and externally, and therefore it is important that you want to collaborate and communicate with many different people. You can maneuver with many parallel tasks and at the same time maintain an overview with the detail in focus. You have a positive approach to your work tasks and the people around you, and you are ready to help where it is needed.
