Aon is currently recruiting for a non-life actuary to join our Reinsurance team in Copenhagen. Our team in Copenhagen is part of Aon Reinsurance Solutions for Nordic & Baltic and our organisation consists of colleagues in Copenhagen, London, Hamburg, Prague and Stockholm. About the Role

As a non-life actuary your key responsibilities will involve:

• Reinsurance treaty pricing and structure optimization in line with client’s risk appetite
• Stochastic modelling including developing new modelling approaches as well as maintaining existing models
• Collaboration with a wider team of brokers, catastrophe modellers and account managers to establish best solutions for our clients
• Communication of results and analytical advice, both internally to brokers and other stakeholders and externally to clients and reinsurers

In close collaboration with the account executives, brokers and other employees in the established customer teams, you will help ensure an optimal and professional analytics delivery. In your day-to-day role, you will benefit from support from senior actuaries as well as having the opportunity to work closely with some of the best reinsurance brokers servicing Nordic and Baltic markets.
Some travel within the Nordic and Baltic countries and to our offices should be expected.
About you

We expect that you:

• Are a highly analytical professional with actuarial, statistical or similar financial/economic degree
• Have up to 5 years of experience in non-life insurance
• Think critically and are good at problem solving
• Have strong communicative and interpersonal skills
• Are able to work in a fast-paced environment and can manage competing priorities
• Are ambitious, creative and structured with a strong sense of detail
• Have a strong desire to learn and are curious

Over time, we expect you to transition into a more client focused role, where you will be assigned analytical responsibility for your own clients. What we offer
