As our new Sourcing Trader in Fredericia, you will become a vital and contributing part of one of our Trading teams characterised by proactivity, team spirit and passion for the industry. Your primary role is day-to-day trading, covering sales, purchase of bunker fuel and logistical planning to optimise profits.

The main focus of this role is to identify opportunities in the volatile market and new supply optionality’s in North Europe and you will experience a high level of professional creativity and possibility to think outside the box. This position will also give you the opportunity to travel and visit our suppliers, thus you will be in contact with stakeholders all over the world and get the opportunity to create valuable networks. In this role, your areas of responsibilities will include:

• Develop and maintain a solid relationship with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Ensure optimal internal stakeholder satisfaction by building strong personal relations and providing specialist advice in bunker solutions, smooth coordination of fuel supply and solving claims and disputes
• Proactively investigate and develop new areas of focus
• Provide internal support by surveying ports/regions, tracking vessel movements

To succeed as Sourcing Trader, it is relevant that you bring:

• Relevant educational experience - most likely with a commercial focus
• Great attention to details
• Experience with Procurement/Sales, including canvas and treatment of vendors
• Fluency in written and verbal English. Danish is a plus

Experience from the Bunker and/or Shipping industry is an advantage, not a requirement.

As a person, you are driven and resilient with a high level of attention to details, alongside being strong at building personal relations. You have the ability to work both in teams and individually, and you proactively seek new market opportunities and engage with business partners as a motivational part of the job. Moreover, you have a natural flair for numbers, analysis, and negotiation.
