Job Description:

Anticimex Innovation Center is looking for a meticulous and dedicated Test Engineer to ensure the quality and efficacy of their pioneering pest control technologies. In this role, you will work alongside multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive test plans, execute tests accurately, identify defects, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our quality assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Plan Development: Collaborate in designing detailed test plans that address all functionalities and scenarios specific to each project.
• Test Execution: Execute test cases accurately, utilizing various testing techniques, including manual and exploratory testing, to assess the performance, functionality, and usability of our products.
• Defect Identification and Documentation: Identify defects during testing phases and document them precisely, using established standards and tools to ensure detailed reporting.
• Collaborative Testing: Engage actively with developers, product managers, and designers to align on quality goals and integrate testing into the development lifecycle.
• Continuous Improvement: Support initiatives to improve testing practices, suggesting, and adopting new methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance quality assurance.
• Risk Assessment: Conducting risk assessments to identify potential issues in quality, performance, and reliability, actively working to mitigate these risks.
• Test Automation: Assist in developing and maintaining automated test scripts, leveraging modern tools and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency (depending on skill set).

What you bring to the table (without necessarily ticking all the boxes):

• A technical bachelor’s degree or an ISTQB certificate is a plus, but it is not mandatory.
• Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience working in a testing/ QA engineering role –preferably with exposure to both manual and automated testing environments.
• Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Knowledge of different programming languages to maneuver in the tech stack.
• It is beneficial if you have worked with Test automation, API Test, E2E, UI test or similar.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
