The Position
As our new Supply Chain Centre of Excellence (CoE) Director you will be responsible for orchestrating both the internal and external supply chain processes to guarantee the continuous availability of Novo Nordisk products across the CoE markets. Your leadership will define the organizational future of the CoE, driving the strategic deployment in collaboration with regional and international partners. Your leadership will cultivate a dynamic and successful environment for the CoE team, while establishing a resilient network of supply chain business partners across the ten affiliates. The role involves proactive stakeholder engagement within a fast-paced commercial landscape. You will oversee critical business functions, including high-profile product launches and essential supply chain operations. Alongside your team, you will spearhead projects that supports the regional strategy, advance the CoEs mission, and innovate supply chain practices with a forward-thinking approach.
Key Accountabilities:

• Leading and developing the CoE team on key focus areas now and in the future.
• In collaboration with the team, driving the inventory, demand, and S&OP agenda across the CoE countries.
• Enable and act as the deployment point for future supply chain capabilities in partnership with the international supply chain function.
• Develop and motivate a team of skilled supply chain managers.
• Taking end-2-end responsibility for all aspects of the supply chain (e.g., 3PL, order handling, transport, distribution etc.) across all CoE countries

Qualifications Innovation and improvements are closely connected to this role as well as leading, collaborating and navigating different cultural backgrounds. To be successful in this role, you need:

• Master’s degree within the relevant discipline like, e.g., Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Management, Business Administration.
• Minimum 5+ years of management experience together with readiness to support your employees to strive in this role, together with 10+ years of experience of Supply Chain Management.
• Experience within the pharmaceutical industry, FMCG or other regulated sectors.
• To be a highly engaged leader with a positive, challenge-driven mindset, efficiently completing projects and reaching targets.
• Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and communication skills with the ability to drive change and build cross-cultural relations.
• Business proficiency, both oral and written, in the English language.
