The Position As a Clinical Systems Implementation and Training Manager, you will become a part of the Clinical Operations Excellence team at the Danish Clinical Development Centre (CDC DK). Your primary objective will involve ensuring the successful onboarding, training, and implementation of clinical systems. In close collaboration with the Clinical Quality and Training Managers and the Innovation Manager, you will lead the execution of system training initiatives for the entire CDC.
In detail you will lead these activities:
  • Driving an agenda of digitalisation and use of digital tools within clinical trial conduct
  • Develop and execute clinical training plans to build technical skills of Global/ Region/ Clinical Development Centre (CDC) strategic priority and to onboard new team members. We expect you to adopt innovative approaches in planning and conduct state-of -art trainings to all stakeholders involved in the clinical trial conduct process
  • Lead and coordinate information, roll out and adaptation of clinical systems and features supporting clinical operational excellence and maximize business value from clinical systems
  • Evaluate productivity and quality metrics with stakeholder, seeking proactively feedbacks to identify technical skill needs, but also providing relevant insights to CDC strategy needed to build best-in-class clinical team
  • Represent CDC in key stakeholders meetings related to clinical trainings, competency development in Regional or Headquarter level
  • Train internal and external stakeholders in the use of systems. This includes also accompanied site visits with CRAs to assess skill gaps and provide trainings
It is preferable that the position is based in Denmark, but it should not prevent you from applying as the scope will be the whole Danish Clinical Development Centre (CDC), included also other 8 adjacent affiliates
Qualifications We are seeking a highly motivated colleague, and as a minimum we expect you to have:
  • min. 5 years of relevant experience in clinical operations/clinical trial monitoring & execution, and solid knowledge of GCP
  • Proven track record in working with and training in clinical systems
  • Proven experience in successfully leading large training programs, workshops and/or developing eLearnings
We expect you to be proactive and a great communicator, with an agile mindset to deal successfully with different and diverse stakeholders, key customers and colleagues when balancing compliance to GCP and overall attention to details. The ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders will be your key to succeed in this role.
About the Department The Clinical Development Centre Denmark is one of the biggest clinical organisations within Novo Nordisk Northwest Europe. We are currently evolving as we are entering new therapy areas and broadening our portfolio of the clinical trials. CDC Denmark as project-centric organisation becomes the backbone in clinical trials for all Therapy Areas, while leading across seven countries, as well as Denmark.
