During summer 2023, we joined forces with Swedish’ leading app agency Bontouch as well as Waterland Private Equity with the goal to create the leading digital product agency worldwide. Our joint mission is clear: To deliver unmatched business value for our partners by crafting superior digital products with unparalleled customer experiences.

Today the group consists of more than 400 employees across offices in Copenhagen, Stockholm, Zurich, New York, London, Åre, Östersund, and Kalmar. The group will continue to grow organically while pursuing international expansion through acquisitions of digital product agencies that have achieved a leading position in their respective markets by delivering best-in-class mobile apps.

• Experience with developing native Android apps using Kotlin, Compose, Gradle, and Android Studio.
• Passion for Android and its ecosystem.
• Dedication to staying up to date with the latest trends in Android, Kotlin, and software development in general
• Motivation to become part of and learn from a team of experienced and passionate developers building apps for iOS, Android, and the web.
• A curious mind, always looking for ways we can improve the products we build and optimize our working processes.
• Interest in software design: API design, modularization, and complexity.
• Persistence in trying to build the perfect user experience.

• Become a key member of team consisting of 2 - 10 developers specialized in Android, iOS and backend development who are responsible for building and maintaining 1 - 3 existing or new projects.

• Participate in creating scalable, maintainable, and tested software that we can work with over the next several years.
• Join us in building industry-leading products using technologies that are native to Android. This includes Kotlin, Compose, Gradle, and Android Studio.
  
• Work in close collaboration with our design, quality assurance, and strategic teams to build delightful products that make a difference in people’s lives.
  
• Take a product from idea all the way into the hands of users, and as part of this, do proof of concepts, define requirements, design the solution, and distribute the final product to the Play Store.
  
• Get dedicated time to explore new technologies and discover how they can fit into our products, for example during Google I/O.
  
• Get the opportunity to share your knowledge with your fellow colleagues as well as learn from them during day-to-day work and our scheduled knowledge-sharing sessions.
  
• Operate in an open, inspiring, and highly trust-based environment, where your opinion matters a lot and will highly define the direction of our codebases as well as the experience we deliver to our users.
  
• Be assigned a mentor, regardless of your experience level, for the first weeks at work, so you can get familiar with Shape’s ways of working.

• Full-time, 37.5 hours a week.

This is a Copenhagen-based, on-site position with flexible remote work possibilities.

English proficiency is a must. Danish language skills are not expected.
