Join us as our new Global Regulatory Affairs Specialist, Plant Health Novonesis is looking for a Global Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join the Regulatory team in Planetary Health. The primary location of this role is in the Copenhagen area, but as we are a global team you will have the opportunity to work remotely from a European location as well.
In Planetary Health, we are committed to enable innovative biosolutions that improve the health of the planet with innovative products that work with the plant and soil to decrease crop stress, as well as protect plants against disease and increase nutrient availability.
The Regulatory Affairs and Product Safety Planetary Health Biosolutions serve a pivotal role, leading and developing regulatory strategies to ensure freedom to operate and speed to market for Plant Health products. This is a challenging and exciting role where you will have the opportunity to work close with our internal and external stakeholders across the globe.
The position is temporary, lasting approximately 12 months to cover a maternity leave. Its a great opportunity to experience the plant health regulatory landscape at an international company working to solve some of humanity’s biggest challenges with biosolutions.

Welcome to the Global Regulatory Affairs team
As Regulatory Affairs Specialist you will be part of the Global Regulatory Affairs team, with around 18 team members across the globe, present in more than 10 locations and in 5 different regions. You will work closely with stakeholders in the Plant Health industry and support the execution on regulatory strategies globally. You will interact with cross-functional product and project groups and maintain close interaction with stakeholders in biotechnology, other parts of R&D, sales, marketing and with strategic customers and authorities.

In this role you’ll make an impact by:
As our Global Regulatory Specialist, you will be participating in project meetings with internal and external stakeholders (i.ex. commercial partners, Commercial Development, Application, R&D, etc), representing a key contributor from Global Regulatory Plant Health team, using your regulatory experience and skills to execute and promote regulatory strategy to enable biocontrol and biostimulant products´ registration in the target countries.
Furthore you will make an impact by:
  • Collaborating and ensuring data consistency and uniformity across diverse regions, aligning project priorities with the objectives of regional regulatory teams
  • Fostering connections with consultants, internal stakeholders, and partners
  • Monitoring partner requirements and regional tasks that influence the global strategy, keeping the interested and relevant stakeholders informed
  • Supporting on advocacy related topics, relevant to the Plant Health business.

To succeed you must hold:
You possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in Product Registration or relevant product development. Essential qualifications include regulatory affairs experience combined with either experience in or a strong interest in Plant Health regulations.

You hold:
  • Scientific background, preferably in microbiology
  • Knowledge of EU regulations is a plus
  • Ability to work within and contribute to cross-functional teams
  • Appreciation of technical issues in the context of their impact in a regulated environment
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.

  • Highly organized and skilled in multitasking
  • Excels in an international, proactive, supportive, and inclusive regulatory team setting
  • A team-player with dedication to quality and willingness to learn
