We have an exciting permanent Sales role within our Health Research Division (HR) in Health. We are looking for an Account and Relationship Management Executive based in the Nordics, preferably Denmark. This role reports to the Associate Director of Sales Benelux, Eastern and Northern Europe, based in the Netherlands. The Account & Relationship Management Executive is responsible for building and maintaining effective long-term relationships and a high level of satisfaction with decision makers and influencers at an assigned group of customer accounts in Denmark, Norway and Iceland. Responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sales plan that includes new and existing sales strategies for large key accounts. This position will collaborate closely with colleagues from the Ovid Sales Team to maintain and grow existing accounts, while also working independently to create new opportunity throughout the territory. Health Research provides lifelong learning, research and practice information solutions for healthcare practitioners, researchers and students. We provide high-quality content and workflow solutions in the medical, nursing and allied health segments to institutions and individuals globally. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline of opportunities to achieve sales objectives via prospecting and account management
  • Develop sales strategy for prospects and assigned accounts and successfully manage deals through the sales cycle
  • Communicate with customers with regards to any account problems and discuss customer concerns and suggestions
  • Negotiate service/product terms with customers in line with guidelines
  • Report suggestions to and develop solutions with sales, order processing, and customer support team
  • May handle add-on sales for clients

Key Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • 3+ years working in Account Management or Sales or other equivalent experience
  • Solid understanding of business, financials, products/services and the market, preferably with a reputation for providing a level of expert knowledge within your industry
  • Excellent communication (both written & oral) and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage own territory/account and monitor resources accordingly
